Cattle have a way of grounding us. They move at their own pace, connected to the land, carrying a quiet strength that speaks of tradition and endurance.
For me, that meaning runs deeper. My wife grew up on a cattle ranch, and through her stories I came to see not just animals, but a way of life filled with work, resilience, and family rooted in the rhythm of the land. Painting cattle is my way of honoring that heritage and the people who live it every day.
Each piece is more than a portrait, it is a reminder of connection to place, to family and to the values that hold us steady when life feels uncertain. When someone lives with one of my cattle pieces, I hope they feel the same steady strength: a quiet reminder that resilience and belonging are worth carrying forward.
